Ensure someone is home to guide the cleaner, or provide specific instructions before leaving the house. If there’s not enough time to complete everything requested, you will need to book additional hours for the next session.
All payments are handled online, and when you book a cleaner with us, you must pay the amount online to confirm the appointment. We offer iDeal, Credit Card, and Klarna (with 3 installments) as payment options.
Yes, you need to provide all cleaning products and equipment. Make sure everything is prepared and show it to the cleaner when they arrive.
When you book a cleaner online, all the standard daily cleaning tasks are included, such as vacuuming, mopping, loading the dishwasher, tidying up, dusting, organizing items, vacuum sofa/chairs, wiping kitchen countertops, cleaning the outside of cabinets, changing bedsheets, and basic bathroom & toilet cleaning. These are the basic tasks covered by our service. If you add extras like oven, fridge, freezer, window, or door cleaning, they will be added to the list as well.
If there’s not enough time to complete everything requested, you will need to book additional hours for the next session.
Party cleanups, event cleanups, cleaning after a renovation, mold removal, balcony or outdoor cleaning, ironing, doing laundry, stain or limescale removal, cleaning heavily polluted properties, or lifting heavy items are not included in our services.
Right of Withdrawal: Customers may cancel their booking up to 14 days before the scheduled appointment and receive a 50% refund. No refund will be given for cancellations made 13 days or less before the scheduled appointment.
No Refunds for Late Cancellations:Â Once an appointment is confirmed and paid for, cancellations made less than 14 days in advance will not be eligible for any refund, as the cleaner has reserved that time for you and cannot accept other bookings.
Refund for No-Show: If the cleaner fails to show up for any reason, Housecleaners.Amsterdam will issue a 100% refund of the amount you paid.
Force Majeure:Â In the event of circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters or public health emergencies), appointments may be rescheduled or canceled without penalty. Refunds will be offered in accordance with the situation.
